We welcome all types of dance partnerships whether you identify as LGBTIQ or are just an ally. We encourage professionals and teachers to partner with students or other professionals to compete in open categories. Mixed gender couples, although not required, are encouraged to challenge the norm of cis male leading and cis female following.

Ballroom and Latin Events
Each couple will self identify their preferred grade when entering. This grade will be confirmed by judges in a grading warm-up round at the start of the competition. This process is somewhat a tradition for same sex competitions around the world.
C grade is for those who are new to the competition world, usually with less than 2 years of experience.
B and A grade events are for those who have experience or have previously won a C graded event.
Winners of the B grade final events will be invited to compete in the A grade final.
